The internet has revolutionized pornography usage. “No, duh,” you say? Here are startling facts and figures.
The first video is about 5 minutes long. The second is about 16 minutes long, but well worth the time. The second video is the most important to watch. But, together they comprise what I call, “Today’s Pornography Primer.” It’s an introduction into the leading scientific findings on why our young men aren’t thriving. It’s an introduction into why pornography is as highly addictive as crack cocaine. Both are secular.
Is there hope? There is always hope as you wage war against porn. Just like low libido is not a permanent condition, porn addiction is not a permanent condition. Both take LOADS of work. Filling your mind constantly with the Word of God, Praying without ceasing, filling your airwaves with Christian music, and seeking counseling is a start to overcome the pornography addiction.
Remember, as Christians we have the same power within us that resurrected Christ. “And if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through His Spirit who lives in you,” Romans 8:11.
There are females who are addicted to pornography. It is unfortunate I have not yet run across as much information for the ladies. But, I have a feeling science crosses gender boundaries, even though there is much reference to evolution and male gender roles in these videos.
